Olivet Spring Book Club

April 19 Update:  We have chosen 'Crazy Christians' for our spring book club choice.  The date for the discussion is still to be determined, but everyone is welcome to pick up a copy of this book and join the event to be held in the latter part of May.

Participants from the Lenten Book Club had so much fun at their discussion dinner with the book "Dust Bunnies in the Basket", that they would like to continue the book club during Spring with another selection.  We need to choose another book, so if you'd like to participate in the Spring Book Club meeting (tentatively set for one or two meetings in later May), please send in your top two choices from the following suggestions, to tchaplin@verizon.net:

1. Unbinding the Gospel by Martha Grace Reese

2. Crazy Christians: A Call to Follow Jesus by Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry

3.  Second Wind: Navigating the Passage to a Slower, Deeper, and More Connected Life by Dr. Bill Thomas

4.  Pastrix: The Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner & Saint by Nadia Bolz-Weber

5.  Interrupted: When Jesus Wrecks Your Comfortable Christianity by Jen Hatmaker

6.  Invisible Lines of Connection by Lawrence Kushner
