Join Rev. Michael for the Dismantling Racism Workshop

9301 Richmond Highway, Lorton, VA 22079

The workshop will begin at 5 p.m. on October 4 and end at 9 p.m. It will continue on October 5 starting at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m.

From Rev. Michael: I invite you to join me on Friday evening and Saturday, October 4th and 5th at Pohick Church for the"Dismantling Racism Workshop" presented by the Race and Reconciliation Committee of the Diocese of Virginia.  As of the last meeting of the General Convention of the Episcopal Church in 2018, all clergy are required to attend this training and lay leaders are urged to attend as well.  The Episcopal Church being one of the oldest established denominations on American soil has a complicated, and  in many ways, painful history with race relations, and it is important, faithful work to confront our history, learn from others' experience, and endeavor to heal deep wounds.  I hope you will join me.

Workshop goals: Acquire anti-racism tools | Explore avenues to reconciliation | Renew your spirit with us
